RARE Blue Tourmaline - 15.27 Carats We have had the amazing luck of discovering a 50+ year old collection of rare and exotic Brazilian tourmaline from Minas Gerais. Specimens that are of any size and clarity are nearly impossible to find these days, and rumors from Brazil have been circulating for some time that tourmaline will be completely mined out within 5 years. We purchased over 300 crystals in this spectacular collection. Some of the crystals could easily be used as facet rough to create giant museum sized faceted stones. Please note that these crystals are uncleaned and just as they came out of the mine over 50 years ago. They still have all the natural surface blemishes as can be seen in our photos and videos. If you were to clean up these specimens, it would add a huge amount of clarity and extra shine.
